And I’d ask them, “Who’s that?” or “Why is he laughing?” or “Where are you guys here?” For me, preserving memories is essential. I often say that we are nothing more than the sum of our memories. But if we lose some of them, what becomes of us?…

I learned the hard way that life is short and that we must cherish every moment we’re given. And if someone is there to capture those moments, we’ll be so grateful later on to be able to remember just how intense they were.
